Dungeonsbig

Basic information[ | ]

Dungeons are a special type of Point of Interest (PoI) found in the Stash RPG. They house a number of combat encounters, bosses and loot. Many dungeons have set spawn points and consistently spawn in one area. Others show up sporadically throughout the various regions of the world, and still the others are procedurally-generated. Some dungeons have a lore that can be discovered.

Types of Dungeons[ | ]

In terms of functionality, there are three different types of dungeons in the world of Stash. While they vary significantly in design, enemies, and content, their core function varies primarily in these areas:

  • POI: the entry point of the dungeon on the World Map.
  • Access: how access to the dungeon works, whether it is shared or instanced, can you encounter other players there, etc.
  • Mob levels: how mob level is determined in the dungeon.
  • Mob respawn: how mobs respawn in the dungeon.

World Dungeons (WD)[ | ]

  • POI: Fixed location on the World Map.
  • Access: a dungeon that is shared by the whole game Primordiax#world. You can encounter other players inside the dungeon that aren’t people in your party.
  • Mob levels: a fixed level range determined by the dungeon type.
  • Mob respawn: whenever a mob is defeated, a new one is spawned in the dungeon, with time.
  • Examples: The Mines, Ruined Barracks

Private Dungeon (PD)[ | ]

  • POI: Fixed location on the world map.
  • Access: Instanced for player/party. You will not encounter other players/parties inside the PD.
  • Mob levels: a fixed level determined by the dungeon maximum level and the party leader's level + the difficulty setting.
  • Mob respawn: no respawns while party is in the dungeon.
  • Example: Bluestone Grotto

Random Private Dungeon (RPD)[ | ]

  • POI: Random location on the world map. Generally, zones have ~10 possible locations, and there are 3 RPDs active at a time. Randomly move every hour.
  • Access: Instanced for player/party. You will not encounter other players/parties inside the RPD.
  • Mob levels: a fixed level determined by the dungeon max/min level and the party leader's level + the difficulty setting.
  • Mob respawn: No respawns while party is in the dungeon.
  • Examples: Forgotten Hole, Ruined Section
