Recipes[ | ]
To craft anything you will have to learn a recipe first. When you first learn a craft from a Craftmaster, they teach you a recipe to start with.
- You can only learn recipes of the crafts you possess, if you don't have the corresponding craft you won't be able to learn the recipe even if you own it.
- Only recipes of the required crafting level can be learned. You won't be able to learn a recipe of higher crafting level even if you own it.
- New recipes become available every 5 levels of craft, Enchanter and Maker can learn new recipes every 10 levels of craft
- (with the exception of Beginner Lathe and Beginner Workbench which can be crafted by a level 5 maker).
- Looting is the only way to acquire new recipes. You can find recipes as a generic loot from chests. To learn a recipe, move it to your inventory and click "use". Once your recipe book is full, you cannot learn anymore recipes unless you delete one of them or add more pages to the recipe book (available at the medallion shop).
Picking a Craft[ | ]
Tip: when choosing a craft, it’s a good idea to also develop a complementary gathering skills to go with it. For example, alchemists use a lot of herbs and gems so if you go this route you may want to stick with herbalism and lapidary as your primary gathering skills.
The Craftmasters are on the first road to the right when you enter the town of Askagard, near market stalls. To practice a craft, you’ll need to go the appropriate craftmaster and learn it.
- Number of crafts you can learn at a time can be increased by activating additional Crafting Skill Slot purchased from the Medallion Shop.
- There is no limit on how many of the 6 crafts you can practice at a time.
Forgetting a Craft[ | ]
If you wish to forget about and stop practicing any particular craft (to free a crafting skill slot for another craft), you can opt to forget the craft at any craftmaster.
- The process of forgetting a craft is irreversible and will forfeit all the crafting experience and recipes learned with that craft after finalized! Activate additional crafting skill slots to keep the XP and get more crafts at a time. Having several crafts can be useful e.g. only crafted armor can be enchanted, ergo having armorer craft can help leveling up enchanter.
- Forgetting a craft is free and can be repeated without limitations.
Getting Crafting Equipment[ | ]
After you've picked a craft, you’ll then need to go buy the tools of your trade before you can practice it. For instance, if you’re a Chef, you’ll need a spoon and a stove. You can buy these items at Zieri’s Wares, a shop located close to the Craftmasters in Askagard, near market stalls. If you’re not sure which tools you need, just hover your mouse over each tool and read its description. Tools and stations above tier 1 are only player-made and are crafted by Makers.
Tools And Workstations[ | ]

---|---|---|
Alchemist | Mortar and Pestle | Alchemist Table |
Armorer | Mallet | Foundry |
Chef | Spoon | Stove |
Enchanter | Loupe | Infuser |
Maker | Lathe | Workbench |
Weaponsmith | Hammer | Forge |
The number of crafting stations you can have is effected by your Base of Operations level.

---|---|
1 | 1 |
3 | 2 |
8 | 3 |
13 | 4 |
18 | 5 |
Workstation Installation[ | ]
To install a stove or an infuser in your BOO you will first need to upgrade it to lvl 2, after that you will get a tent with interior area, you can then install a stove or an infuser inside the tent. To do so, first put a stove or an infuser in your stash, it will then appear in your BOO inventory when you toggle view mode indoors your BOO area. All other workstations are installed outdoors with no need to upgrade BOO right away.
- Crafting tools need to be placed in your Stash Inventory to be usable.
- Workstations need to be placed in your Stash Inventory and then installed in the Base of Operations area indoors or outdoors, depending on the workstation type.
- BOO area has to be upgraded to level 2 to get an interior.
Initiating the Crafting Process[ | ]
Make sure you have learned the recipe required to process an item, have all the required resources and your respective crafting tool placed into your stash inventory, and your respective crafting station installed in your Base of Operations. Click the crafting station to access its interface, find a recipe from its recipe list and double click it to start crafting.
Quality[ | ]
Main purpose of crafting is to get items of higher quality. Because of the better quality, crafted items are utterly more demanded than those looted from chests. Weapons of better quality inflict more damage, and armor items provide better defense. Crafted foods restore more Health and Mana and can be kept in larger stacks than those bought from vendors, which greatly saves inventory space. A player crafted gear's quality can be up to 100% which is fairly rare and requires several crafting attempts.
Crafting speed[ | ]
Base speed of crafting a level 1 item is 30 seconds, and the time is increased by 150 seconds per every 5 levels required to craft the item.
For every 1 point of skill the player has over the skill level required to craft the item, speed bonus is 1% (up to a maximum of 20%).
Crafting time can be skipped by paying Medallions.
Tier | Tool Prefix | Station Prefix | Craft per Station | Base Crafting Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
1(recipes LVL01-05) | Starter | Simple | 1 | 30 sec (LVL1) - 150 sec (LVL5) |
2(recipes LVL10-15) | Beginner | Beginner | 2 | 300 sec (LVL10) - 450 sec (LVL15) |
3(recipes LVL20-25) | Novice | Novice | 3 | 600 sec (LVL20) - 750 sec (LVL25) |
4(recipes LVL30-35) | Intermediate | Great | 4 | 900 sec (LVL30) - 1050 sec (LVL35) |
Crafting Experience[ | ]
Crafting experience is based on the number of materials used, tier of the item being crafted and your crafting skill tier. When you craft an item, each unit of material used will give you 10 experience (100%) if the item being crafted is of the same tier as your crafting skill tier, 5 experience (50%) if of one tier below your current crafting skill tier, and no more experience if of two tiers below your current crafting skill tier.
E.g. your crafting skill level is 23 (crafting skill tier 3), then you will get:
- 10 experience per unit of material if you craft an item that requires crafting level 20 (crafting skill tier 3),
- 5 experience per unit of material if you craft an item that requires crafting level 10 or 15 (crafting skill tier 2),
- 0 experience per unit of material if you craft an item that requires crafting level 1 or 5 (crafting skill tier 1).

- As Maker's work is needed to create all other crafting tools and stations, Maker's Workbench and Lathe can be crafted a tier earlier.
Tips:[ | ]
- You can have multiple workstations, such as stoves or foundries, so you can make several items at once (the number you can have is dependent on your BOO level). You'll only need one crafting tool e.g. a spoon if you're a chef, to use all stations from the same craft.
- Every 10 craft levels, you will need to upgrade your tools and workstations for higher level equipment (bought from players only, NPCs do not sell higher than tier 1)
- Don't throw away your crafting disasters! Take them to the Salvage Machine in Askagard. You may get some rare, fabled or legendary crafting ingredients from the machine (salvaging disasters costs 5 triads per unit).
- If you choose to be a chef or an enchanter, your workstations will need to be placed in the interior of your BOO. This means your BOO needs to be at least level 2 to start crafting with these professions (the interior appears at BOO level 2).
